Come have a rompin', stompin' good time and help celebrate the grape harvest with the 1st Annual Stomp Off! Watch as media personalities, local celebrities and festival attendees face off against each other as they dip their toes into barrels full of juicy grapes. The winner will be determined by the amount of juice created from each contestant's barrel after five minutes of stopping. (Don't worry...we won't be bottling the juices!) All are welcome to join in on this nostalgic and jovial affair. Entry fee is only $25 and will be donated to a local charity. So, take off your shoes, roll up your pant legs and get ready to be splattered with purple and green! Winner will receive an festival t-shirt, wine opener and a bottle of wine! Contact Susan at surbanek@mooreamarketing to enter.

3:00-6:00pm
This band of seasoned musicians recreates the sounds of the 1980s; a day when Ronald Reagan was President, M-TV first aired, CDs emerged, Acid Washed jeans were "Cool" and alternative music was called "New Wave". This period has resurfaced in today's entertainment industry. VH-1 has multiple segments echoing from the 80's Video Generation, radio stations across the U.S. feature artists from the 1980s in daily "flashback" programs while 1980s anthems have permeated TV commercials.

Charlie Adler
Taste DC
"Food and Wine Pairing- a Refreshing Perspective"
Charlie Adler will engage all your senses in understanding how taste is part of all your past experiences and pleasures! Charlie feels that understanding wine and food pairing is no different than cooking a delicious dish: all flavors need to work together in some harmony. Pairing is an incredibly enjoyable part of a meal that helps to create a wonderful wine and food synergy when the whole is greater than its parts. The idea that there is only one wine to be paired with any one dish, or there is only one way to pair wine with food is a simple misunderstanding of how flavors work together.
